Valdrôme's Brand History
Valdrome is originally an authentic manufacture of "Indiennes", these painted canvases that sailors brought back from India, from the late 16th century. The "Indienneurs" imported Oriental Cotton and basic dyes: blue indigo, madder red and yellow colors plantes. Those juices still form the basis of fabrics. STOF took over the reins of the brand Valdrôme in 2016 with the ambition to give it its true identity. New collections are created in the style "Art de vivre of Provence" and "Art de vivre of France" while preserving the traditional always appreciated collections.
